If you’ve ever really wondered how to plan for how much cake to have at your wedding reception. (I’ve seen it go both ways with there being way to much cake at the end of the night or not enough.) Then this is a quick guide that can help you decide on how much cake you should probably need without having to waste a ton of it or not have any left over for your guests at all.

Now this here is a funny and short way of doing a choreographed father daughter dance!
I like this particular video just because it’s not to long or drawn out…
This was something that I have ran across on the Internet that I haven’t seen at whole lot of at the actual receptions. I do think it’s a really good idea though.
A lot of wedding couples like to have trinkets and other nick-knacks sitting on their guests table…but what if you changed it up a little bit and gave your guests a container of some sort to be able to take home whatever candy they would like from your “Candy Room“, “Candy Bar” or “Candy Station“.
Pictured Below is a “Candy Station” from a wedding reception:
I like the idea of being able to give your guests options…I personally would take full advantage of this…
It seems to be a big hit with the guests. They get a container to keep as a sentimental value and get to take candy home too! It’s a win-win situation…
My guess is they would be heading home saying how “Sweet” your reception was!
So this is something that I have recently stumbled upon and never even really thought about it…But apparently this is actually something that people have at their wedding receptions.
An actual wedding magician!
Would you think this would be a good addition to your wedding?
I could see how it would add a lot of fun to your special day…but would you be willing to shell out the extra cash for something like this?
I would say you probably would want to have him do a few tricks on you before you give him the green light. I’ve heard the war stories about really bad DJ’s, so I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want to have the same situation with a Magician…He might just make all the “Fun” disappear…
The idea of adding a Photo Booth came to me one day as I was talking to a friend about doing something different for my events. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do to add flavor, but this was definitely something that I felt would be a great addition to the DJ service.
If you have ever met me…you’d know that I love to have fun but most importantly I love to smile!
These two things, I believe are a big part of keeping the spirit young!
But that’s besides the point…The point is that (as you can see in the picture above) the Photo Booths is fun at any event! I am so glad that I have been able to incorporate it into my business.
I have never had a guest come up and tell me that they didn’t enjoy the photo booth. And it’s very hard (once I’m shutting everything down) to keep them out!
So if you are looking for something that is fun to add to your event…that allows for everyone there to go home with an awesome feel good memory…then feel free to contact me and I’ll be glad to help!
